Spring ISD – EP&I Center (GMP Package 02 – Structural Steel, MEPT Underslab, Switchgear, Generator)

GMP Package 02 for the Spring ISD - EP&I Center project includes the following scopes of work:

• Structural Steel Fabrication
• Structural Steel Erection
• Concrete Tilt Wall Panel Erection
• MEPT Underslab Pathways
• Plumbing Underslab
• Electrical Switchgear (equipment purchase only)
• Generator Equipment (equipment purchase only)

The Education Performance and Instructional (EP&I) Center will be built on land owned by Spring ISD that currently houses the Planet Ford Stadium. This project will include an arena space that will be able to accommodate 5,000 people seated in bleachers and on the floor. This space will also be used for Athletics Competitions. In addition to the Arena, the Building will house a Performance Space to accommodate 1,000 people. This Performance Space will be used for the Performing Arts band, choir, and theater performances. The project also includes, as an alternate, a multipurpose pavilion that has been designed to be versatile in its support of a host of activities and events in the district, including Marching Band practice, Underwater Robotics, Annual Spring Livestock Show, etc. The Pavilion can also host community or family celebrations including weddings and quinceañeras.
