Groundbreaking-Aldine ISD W.W. Thorne Stadium

On January 20, 2023, a groundbreaking for Aldine ISD W.W. Thorne Stadium Replacement was held.

This kicks off the start of the project to replace the existing stadium. The stadium will be a state-of-the-art facility that will host a variety of events every year. 

Lakundre "Dre" Thompson, Executive Director of Athletics said "We are excited to bring a new, dynamic stadium to Aldine. School districts will once again look to Aldine."
